Project "Establishment and implementation of Geographic information system (GIS) for Municipality of Lyubimets"
    The project is funded by the Financial Memorandum of the Ruropean Economic Area. The project cost is 416 000 euros. GIS is combination of computer hardware and software for collecting, storing, updating, processing, analysis and visualization of spatial information provided by maps, sets of geographic data models for data processing. Thanks to the introduction of GIS the municipality will work with cadastral plans and regulatory settlements in digital form.
    Grant agreement was signed on 23.07.2009 year. The project will be bring to an end in April 2011.

    Project "Sustainable development of the municipalities of Lyubimets, Toplovgrad and Babaeski (Republic of Turkey) by pooling the resources of both countries and integration of their natural and cultural heritage in tourism product"
    The project is under PHARE CBC Bulgaria-Turkey "Grant scheme to promote sustainable development in Strandzha Mountain" BG2005/017-453.01.02, the total project cost is 149 264 euros.

    Project "Center for cross-border exchange of best practicies and experience in the agriciltural business"
    The project is under PHARE CBC Bulgaria-Greece "Grant scheme for intergrated support for economic development and stimulate employment" BG2005/017-454.02.01-13. Total project cost is 91 707 euros. The main task of the project is promoting the sustainable cross-border cooperation between the Municipality of Lybimets and Municipality of Feres(Greece) by creating opportunities for better economic development through joint activities in support of agribusiness.

    Project "Repair and reconstruction of the sport hall in Lyubimets with its adjacent land"
    The project is implemented under "Beautiful Bulgaria" project. Total area of all sports site is 10 acres, 1250 sq.m of which is covered area. The value of the project is 190 000 leva, 50% of which is financed by the Municipality of Lyubimets.

    Project "Neighborhood and friendship without borders"
    The project is under PHARE CBC Bulgaria-Turkey 2005 joint small projects fund BG2005/017-454.02.01. Its value is 45 966 euros and its object is to establish stable forms of cooperation between Municipality of Lyubimets and Municipality of Babaeski.

    Project "Sustainable development of the municipalities of Lyubimets, Madjarovo and Trianopolis(Greece) through conservation, maintenance and friendly integration of their natural resource in tourism product"
    The project is under PHARE CBC Bulgaria-Greece "Sustainable development through protection and conservation of water and biodiversity in the border region" BG 2005/017-454.03.03.

    Projects, performed in 2006

    Project "Repair and renovation of community center buildings to enchance and expand cultural exchanges between the municipalities of Lyubimets and Trigono(Republic of Greece)"
    Primary object of the project is through provision of suitable employment for young people to repair and renovate the community center buildings in the settlement of the municipality.

    Project "Vie for victory, won the friendship"
    The project is inder PHARE CBC, small projects fund, 2002, with value 24 961 euros, 12% of which is financed by the Municipality of Lyubimets.
    Its object is cooperation between Municipality of Lyubimets and two greek municipalities Trigono and Aleksandropuli in sports and sporting activities.

    Project "Together in Europe with culture without borders"
    The project is under PHARE CBC . Its value is 31 963 euros.
    The main object of the project is establishing a tradition and long-term cooperation in cultural and ethnographic heritage between Municipality of Lyubinets and Municipality of Trigono(Republic of Greece).
